About Latasha

I have over 25 years of experience as an educator in English, special education, and developmental education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of ages, academic levels, and abilities. This experience has taught me how to meet students where they are, identify areas where they need additional support, and explain concepts in ways that are easier to understand. My primary areas of expertise are English, reading, writing, grammar, language arts, ESL, test prep., basic elementary and middle school math, and study skills. I can help students strengthen reading comprehension, improve writing and grammar, develop vocabulary, prepare for tests, complete assignments, and build better study habits. My background in special and developmental education has made me especially patient and flexible in my teaching approach with the goal to help my students develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to become stronger learners.
