About Latasha

I hired Latasha this past October to care for my 88 year old mother who had Alzheimer's disease and arthritis in her knees. We needed immediate help for the morning "shift" and out of 40 applicants, she was the first one to apply. Although I interviewed several people, I liked what Latasha was all about. She focused on the care of my mother and getting to know her. My mother really felt comfortable with Latasha which is most important. Latasha responsibilities included helping my mother to bathe and dress and to make her breakfast and lunch. In their downtime, Latasha would paint my mother's nails, work on word puzzles, talk with mom and most importantly, she listened to her. She really became a companion to my mom. Another note, during this time I was home all day and Latasha was respectful of our home and navigating our family. Sadly, my mom passed away last week but Latasha has agreed to also help us out when needed with our Down syndrome brother. She's great-Hire her!
