I have worked over 20 years in the hospital working the medical, surgical and oncology department. I'm deeply committed to supporting their well-being and independence. My background includes a college degree, and I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. In previous roles, I've found joy in helping families by providing reliable care, and I'm skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and incorporating memory care activities. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning about their preferences and history. I provide transportation, run errands, and assist with medical management. I communicate with families using their preferred method, offering verbal updates or regular calls. Patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented, I approach each day with the goal of making a positive impact. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish.
