My name is Larryssa and I have over 16 years experience working with elderly as well as disabled adults and clients with Parkinson's. I have done hospice, Alzheimer's and dementia clients I also have several years working in an assisted-living facility that does include working in the memory care unit with about two caregivers to 20 clients. I have experience with dressing, showering including bathing, toileting, light housekeeping around clients living space. I also have a lot of experience working with clients who have colostomy bags and catheter bags. I have experience with peg tubes also. I have worked with clients who need medication distribution or medication sorting as I was a med tech in the assisted living facilities. I can also assist with feeding and feeding through a feeding tube. The most important thing I love about this job is companionship, as I do believe that it is most important working in this field, I love to provide companionship to my clients.

We have been so fortunate to have Larryssa caring for my father over the past few weeks. She has been absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t be happier with her. Larryssa is incredibly sweet, kind, compassionate, and personable. She doesn’t just take care of his basic needs—she genuinely engages with him and makes his days more enjoyable. She cooks for him, puts on music and sings and dances with him, plays board games with him, and most importantly, keeps him laughing and smiling. It’s clear that she truly cares about him and treats him with so much patience, dignity, and respect. She is also very communicative, which gives our family peace of mind knowing how he is doing. She has such a warm and positive personality, and it’s obvious that she genuinely enjoys spending time with him and takes pride in the care she provides. We are extremely grateful to have Larryssa caring for our father. She has been such a wonderful addition to his life and to our family’s peace of mind. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver who is not only dependable and attentive, but truly caring and compassionate.
