About Larkyn

I did at home caregiving for a year while in high school and just graduated from NMU with my BSN! I worked with hospice patients for two years while in college. I am a very compassionate person who loves to be able to make a difference and impact in people's lives. Whether they just need someone to talk to or someone to help them with daily activities, I'm happy to be there. I like caring for seniors because I cared for my grandma who has Lewis body dementia and I see that elders at all stages deserve the same care as any one else. They are also the funniest group to be with! I started caring for seniors when I was in high school and still continue to! In my spare time, I like to play hockey, go for walks, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am a full time nurse. My skills include being compassionate, talking and listening, and helping with daily cares.
