I love children and have always wanted a larger family. However, this was not to be and I spend time and work with children of all ages to get my kid fix. I have been a special educator for the past 15 years in both public and alternative schools. I enjoy all children. I have extensive experience working with those who have emotional or behavioral difficulties. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method of reading instruction, and have a developmental approach for math instruction. My patience, humor, and respect for students has helped me develop strong relations with them, and this eventually leads to success in many areas of their lives. I feel a great sense of accomplishment and pride when gains are made in areas we take for granted.
