About Lara

I am an enthusiastic and warm caregiver with over 12 years of experience. I've delighted in babysitting, nannying, teaching and working as a camp counselor and also have worked with young people in my nonprofit and social work career. I deeply appreciate the privilege of getting to support babies and youth as they discover the world for the first time and start to learn about themselves. My caregiver philosophy is about joining them in their world, so I am very active and participate and take part in play and imagination with the youth I'm working with. I am ready and excited for park time, activities all around town and homework help. I have also taught art and I'm happy to bring supplies for projects. I love to cook and feel very comfortable preparing meals. I also value the relationship built with families and I appreciate the need to build a foundation of trust with parents. I take pride in being an excellent communicator and a reliable source of support. Excited to connect!
