About Laquita

I'm pleased to write a recommendation for Quitta. Quitta was part of a class I facilitated during an interim course. In this course, we investigated the effects of poverty on the development and education of students. We spent two and a half weeks in Chicago and Milwaukee visiting and working in various schools. While in Milwaukee, we worked in classrooms. Quitta served as a teacher aide during our time in Milwaukee. She worked with individual students and with small groups. She was a "natural" in her interactions with the young students. She assisted them with their work. She talked with them in a respectful way. Quitta quickly gained the trust of the students. She was creative in her interactions and easily interacted with the students. I have every confidence that Quitta will be a positive leader in young people's lives. She is sensitive. She is aware. She understands people. I highly recommend her for positions that are aligned with her preparation.
