I am LaNokia and I am 30yrs of age. I have a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Spanish. I was a former cheerleader and have worked as a gymnastics instructor as well as a cheer/tumbling instructor. I have 10yrs of childcare experience and I'm CPR certified. She's very inexperienced with babies. We hired her to come hours before we left to let children become acclimated. The baby cried and we had to end our date 2 hours early because she couldn't calm the baby down. She canceled a scheduled date because I told her we would be unable to come home as easily if the baby is upset because we planned to go to San Francisco (we live in Oakland) and she canceled because she couldn't handle a crying baby. She was great with our 5 year old.

Highly recommend Lanokia! She was literally amazing with our 9 month son who laughed all day and enjoyed Lanokia as if she was a long lost auntie. Great to have someone in our home with such a bubbly personality. We hope to invite her into our home again in the future.

Lanokia was wonderful with our 14 month old and 6 year old. She was fun, caring, and calm. Also, as a fun extra, she taught me some gymnastics :) . I would highly recommend her.

Lanokia spent 8 hours with my MIL of 85 years watching her watch our daughter.  It was only a one time thing but both my mom (mother of 4) and us were tremendously impressed.  It was the first time we had a night out, so we did due diligence and was very happy with the result with her.

We are sure to use her again in the future in our own home as we all built trust in her.  Our daughter immediately bonded with her and they were quick friends.  She did a great job entertaining our daughter.  Our daughter (21 months old) actually cried when LaNokia left the house, which is a good sign in my opinion. We would recommend her.

Lanokia was on time and followed all of my requests. She was the first babysitter for my 5 month old and 2.5 year old and was so patient with my anxiety about the whole thing. She kept in good communication and was very open. We will hire her again!

Lanokia took such wonderful care of our 8-month-old. She brought endless joy and attention.  We can't wait to have Lanokia come babysit again soon!

After reading such positive reviews on Lanokia's profile, I reached out to her and we scheduled some time to chat. She never answered my call, nor did she inform me ahead of time that she was no longer interested. I messaged her as a follow up and never heard back. Extremely disappointed and upset at the fact that she disrespected my time. Unprofessional.

We hired Lanokia for a one-time babysitter of two children. She responded to messages promptly and arrived 15 minutes early.  She was friendly, enthusiastic and easy to deal with as well as attentive and interactive with the children.  She dealt with our two big dumb clumsy dogs without any problems and left the house cleaner than when she arrived. Highly recommend!

Lanokia is one of the best babysitters we had. 
She is very energetic and enthusiastic, never tired of her work. She plays with kids. She enjoys taking care of little ones. She knows very well what she is doing. I never saw her chit-chatting on phone while taking care of baby. She keeps area around baby clean, she is always on her toes, and never leave kids alone. I'm writing to recommend LaNokia M. for the position you have available. LaNokia provided childcare for our four-year-old from October 2020 through January 2021, while I recovered from surgery. She did a stellar job for us and would make a great addition to any team. 
She has excellent communication skills and was able to clearly communicate with our toddler as well as with us in providing daily updates regarding our son's progress. She emphasized reading and speech skills, taught him new motor skills and helped develop new routines for him, all of which improved his overall development. In addition, LaNokia taught and exhibited extreme patience, was always energetic and enthusiastic about her job and was able to mitigate any issues as they arose. My husband and I were both impressed by her abilities and she maintained our highest level of trust from the beginning.
