About Lannie

I brought Lannie in to be with my mother in the fall of 2019. She was coming home from rehab after having broken her hip, so I didn't know how much help she would need, given how active she had been before her accident. She did go back to being very independent and Lannie served largely as a companion, since my mother wouldn't let her do much more than that. Lannie was very flexible, and adapted to my mother's wishes. My mother quickly became very fond of Lannie, and swore that she was not there as a caregiver, but as a friend. This largely continued through late 2021 when my mother began to deteriorate physically and then mentally and Lannie adapted to her increasing needs seamlessly. By Jan '22, Lannie was doing virtually everything for her, e.g., feeding, dressing, bathing etc. and that continued until she was moved to a nursing home in February. I found Lannie to be one of the kindest and most caring people that I have ever known and can't recommend her more highly!
