I have a natural love for learning so I always wanted to be a teacher. Life lead me to caring for elderly and landed me a job at a pediatric center for medically fragile children where I worked as a nursing assistant with children up to age 21. Many of the children I've worked with have various health diagnoses and/or physically disabilities. Caring for these children gave me an experience everyone should encounter. It taught me patience and gratitude and gave me such a rewarding feeling that I was a familiar and loving face for these children. I also worked as a paraprofessional mainly being a companion for children with autism.

I have been so fortunate to have Lanisha helping me with my 8 month old twin babies over the last few months. Lanisha is an extremely engaging sitter, and has a positive, happy attitude that my babies absolutely love. She has been excellent about doing tons of floor time with them, as they are a bit behind on some physical milestones- do tons of exercises, baby songs, tummy time, working on eating solids, and more. She is also happy to help out wherever needed when my 8 year old or 3 year old are home and is not phased by our sometimes chaotic environment. Any family would be so incredibly lucky to have Lanisha as their babysitter- she is fantastic.
