Lani was with our family for six years, caring for my elderly mother. My mom went from a walker to completely bedridden by the end. Lani not only was a an amazing caregiver, but also a companion for my mom. They would read together, watch TV together, and play games. Lani was with us through Covid and protected my mom from getting the virus. She always kept me up-to-date on my mom’s day-to-day health and activities. My mom did have dementia and Lani did what she could to help with memory care. She was always flexible in her hours of care. Overall, I was so fortunate to have found her. She and her son have become a part of our family and they will be dearly missed.
