About Lanielle

Hi! I'm Lanielle - an adventurous and communicative South African living in South Lake Tahoe with a career in animal welfare and wildlife care. I work professionally in wildlife conservation and rescue, assisting veterinarians and running a business focused on wildlife management, rescue, and relocation. I also conduct giraffe research in partnership with conservation organizations in South Africa, and in the U. S. I volunteer in animal search and rescue during disasters. I'm experienced and confident in administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing attentive, compassionate care to animals of all kinds. I'm flexible with scheduling, though I do travel to South Africa annually and occasionally assist with U. S. disaster response work. I truly love all animals and always treat every one I care for as if they were my own.
