About Lani

My name is Lani. I'm 23 years old and new to Colorado. I graduated from Simpson College in 2022 with my Bachelors in Biology and minors of Chemistry and Women and Gender Studies. During my time at Simpson College I was involved in various organizations. I was a senator in the Student Government Association, treasurer/secretary and graphic marketing specialist for Sexual Assault Response Advocates while I served my campus as a confidential advocate. While going to college full time, I was a nanny for a 9-10-year-old girl and helped manage the household for a five-person family. After graduation, I worked for a non-profit organization in the central Iowan area at a no-kill animal shelter. While continuing to volunteer at the shelter, I then became a Registered Behavior Technician in Iowa delivering ABA therapy to children 2-13 years old. I have continued that work in Colorado after moving in July of 2023.
