About Laney

Caring for children is more than a job for me; it's a lifelong passion that began in my large family. With four younger siblings and many foster siblings, I've been involved in childcare since I was 10, babysitting for other families since 13, and a children's reading tutor since 15. I have worked closely with children with special needs, including my brother who has autism. I bring eight years of experience to your family, caring for children of all ages from newborns to 13-year-olds. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time or up to 6 kids. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I prioritize open communication, providing verbal updates at pickup and regular text or phone updates, always following your preferred method. I love engaging in whatever activities your child enjoys, making our time together fun and exciting. I have current CPR and First Aid certifications, a car, and I am comfortable with pets.
