About Laney

I have several years of childcare experience through helping care for my younger siblings as the second oldest of five, babysitting for families, and shadowing medical assistants in pediatric clinics. These experiences have taught me how to provide attentive, compassionate, and dependable care for children of all ages. I am certified in CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), Stop the Bleed, and Clinical Medical Assisting (CCMA). I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping, transportation, and errands. This fall, I will attend the University of Texas at Austin as a Psychology major on the pre-med track. I am organized, responsible, adaptable, and comfortable enforcing household rules and routines. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sports, puzzles, and video games, and I love finding fun, engaging activities for children. I value open communication with parents and strive to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for every child in my care.
