About Laney

I have a passion for working with kids, I volenteered in my church's nursery taking care of kids ages 1-5. I've taken childcare and child development classes. I'd describe my personality as caring, a kindhearted, and a mediator. I like working with kids because I enjoy teaching, protecting and making a positive impact. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and that I can fit around my schedule. I'm comfortable working long hours, early mornings and late nights. I started working with kids when I was 14 in my church's nursery, I also enjoy babysitting my little nephews. In my spare time, I like to play piano, write, and hang out with my cats. I'm very ambitious and a hard worker. I take my jobs very seriously and I'll always strive do my best no matter the position. I'm a fast thinker and trained to de-escalate conflicts. I'm also trained in food safety and hygiene. I love reading to kids, making games and activities, and building a close connection to them and the families.
