About Laney

Hi! My name is Laney, and I'm a junior. I'm responsible, caring, energetic, and I really enjoy working with kids. I've been babysitting since my freshman year of high school and also four years of gymnastics coaching experience. Through coaching, I've worked with kids for about 15-18 hours a week which has given me lots of experience keeping kids engaged, encouraging them, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported. I love working with kids because I enjoy getting to know their personalities and finding fun activities to do together. I'm looking for a job where I can be someone families can trust and rely on. I'm happy to help with things like playing outside, crafts, games, homework, and bedtime routines. My top three childcare skills would be patience, communication, and keeping kids engaged. One thing I want families to know is that I genuinely care about the kids I work with and I always want them to feel safe, happy, and comfortable.
