About Laney

I love working with kids! I am the oldest girl of 7 kids so I grew up being a mini mom for my siblings. At age 14, I started nannying for families all over my neighborhood and haven't looked back since! I've had the privilege of working with infants to pre-teens, big families and small. I graduated in 2021 with a degree in Psychology and minors in Elementary Education, and Marriage and Family Studies. I worked at an elementary school for several years as an aide as well. I am passionate about being a life-long learner and becoming a better human than I was yesterday. I am my happiest outside in the sunshine hiking and listening to a good book or podcast. I enjoy cleaning and I am passionate about preparing real food that nourishes. I'd be happy to bring to your kids what I've found brings life the most joy- reading good books, playing fun games, cooking quality food, and getting all the outdoor play in that we can.
