About Lanayah

Hello! My name is Lanayah. I am 23 years old, live in Monmouth, Oregon and have a passion of working with others and helping individuals achieve activities of daily living. My hobbies are drawing, writing, reading, motivation, and health and wellness. I'm always pushing myself to become better and enjoy growth and learning! Once I got out of high school, I found that caregiving for elderly adults was a great opportunity to help others. I worked as an in- home caregiver for two years, and have experience working with individuals who have intellectual/developmental Disabilities. I have experience with medication administration, keeping track of health conditions, effective communication, health risks, the importance of mental health, daily housekeeping and tidying, chemical safety, hygiene, memory loss, loss of mobility, coping mechanisms and calming strategies, and work well with scheduling. I am currently CPR/ first aid certified and OIS trained. Thank you for your consideration
