About Lana

Hi, my name's Lana! I am a sophomore at Colorado State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with kids since I was 13 years old, babysitting, lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, and theatre classes. In addition, this past year I worked as a 3rd grade teacher for a local Sunday school and this year will be working with the kindergarteners! I also worked at a day camp this summer where I was in charge of a group of 14 girls aged 4-5. Having worked in such an environment, I know how to handle a unique variety of situations, as well as maintaining safety. My friends and family like to describe me as a very bubbly and outgoing person, but I am also very creative and energetic which is why I'm always happy to join in on the fun when playing with kids! In my free time, I love crafting, reading and staying active in the gym or outside. I would love the chance to get to know your family and help create a fun environment for your kids!
