About Lana

I am 64 years young and have 3 grown children of my own. After 30+ years, I retired from working in the school and criminal justice systems. I still desire to work part time in a position that I will enjoy and I enjoy working with small children. While attending college I worked at a daycare for over a year. The things I enjoy doing while caring for children are: being silly, reading story books, arts and crafts, play pretending, going on adventures outdoors or to the park, and assisting children to learn and explore. I am extremely responsible, dependable and rarely get sick. During the past three years, I have nannied a toddler boy for a year and a half and then a baby/toddler girl for just over a year. I thoroughly enjoyed both positions.

Lana is an absolute treasure to our family. She cared for our daughter two days per week starting at five months of age until one year and has helped us on and off since then. She has been with us through so many phases and challenges, from contact naps to crib training, from starting solids to weaning off bottles. Lana handled everything with incredible patience, kindness, and tenderness. She is easy to communicate with, always shows up on time, and is so present, always giving her full attention. You’d be hard pressed to find a more capable and calm caregiver.
