About Lamarea

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With two years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students excel in Music, Drama, Dance, and Sports. I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization by creating an engaging, patient environment. I assess your learning style through active observation, adapting my methods with visual aids and hands-on activities to ensure concepts click. When subjects become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. Clear, consistent communication with you and your family remains vital to my collaborative approach. Nothing compares to witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I am happy to travel to your home or a local coffee shop, and I am always comfortable around pets. I look forward to helping you grow.
