About Lamaiya

My name is LaMaiya, and I am a caring, reliable, and compassionate babysitter/nanny with several years of experience working with children from infant through grade school. I've been babysitting since I was 19 years old, and growing up with many siblings has given me strong, hands-on experience caring for children of all ages. I genuinely enjoy working with kids, and they naturally feel comfortable and safe around me. I am currently pursuing a career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), which is why supporting children's growth and development is so important to me. I find it rewarding to be part of a child's daily routine and to help create a positive, nurturing environment. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, working out, hiking, baking, reading, and journaling. I am patient, kind, and communicative, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children and their families.
