About Lakiesha

I couldn’t have been luckier to find our incredible nanny, Lakiesha. She joined our family when my baby was just nine months old, at a time when we desperately needed help. After our home was flooded during Hurricane Helene, I was overwhelmed—trying to rebuild while caring for my little one as a stay-at-home mom. Then I found Lakiesha, and it was truly a blessing. From day one, she stepped in seamlessly, bringing structure and support in ways I hadn’t even imagined. She established a wonderful routine for my baby, something I had struggled with myself. She takes him on walks, puts him down for naps effortlessly, feeds him, and engages him in play—always attentive and proactive. Beyond childcare, Lakiesha has been a tremendous help in our home, especially after the flood. While my baby naps, she goes out of her way to assist with organizing and cleaning, easing the burden of recovery. Her support has been invaluable, and I can’t express how grateful I am for everything she has done. Now, with our house finally back in order and my son at 14 months old, I’ve had to reduce her hours to return to being a full-time stay-at-home mom. But I couldn’t let her go completely—I’ve been spoiled by her incredible help, and I only wish I could keep her full-time!
