About Lakeya

Hi!! My name is Lakeya. I have a genuine and absolute love for children. I'm in college for Child Development. I have experience working with kids of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I also have experience with twins/multiples as well as children with special needs and I love every moment! Being around children is so exciting and rewarding. Every time I am around children, I do whatever I can to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Most children I have known took no time at all to warm up to me. I love having the opportunity to meet new families and help take care of their children. I love being outdoors as much as possible but I also know how to be entertaining when stuck indoors on a rainy or cold day. I always try to encourage children to make up their own fun games when or if they get bored. Those moments do occasionally happen.
