About Lakeshia

With five years of childcare experience, I am comfortable caring for multiple children while bringing a patient, calm, and approachable presence to every family I work with. I also work with the Issaquah School District, giving me firsthand experience working with children and families in the local community. My background in Early Childhood Education helps me create, meaningful, and age-appropriate activities through play, games, and outdoor activities. I especially value helping children build confidence, feel seen and understood, and learn how to work through challenges with others. Social coaching and helping children talk through conflicts in a calm, supportive way are important parts of how I care for them. I believe even the smallest moments can make a child feel valued and seen. A fun fact about me is that I love singing musical books with toddlers! I have a natural ear for tunes and love turning story time into an interactive experience; I Look forward to connecting.
