About Laken

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic and caring I like working with kids because I have grown up in a big family and I have always loved being around children and ensuring they have fun even when it comes to day to day things. I'm looking for a job where I can not only be close to the kid/kids I'm working with but also be engaged with the family as a whole to do my very best to support everyone. I started working with kids as a teachers assistant at a private school for 3 years. It was pre school to kindergarten so I worked with a wide range of children at the school. I then went on to be a nanny for 2 boys that were 3 and 6. My most recent job was nannying for a 1-year-old girl and occasionally her 4-year-old brother and I worked with them for 8 months. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors as much as I can. I love going on walks, snowboarding, hiking, spending time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I am a certified EMT.
