About Lakel

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion. My experiences in a school setting showed me the difference a caring presence can make. I have 11 years of experience caring for children aged newborn to pre-teen. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children. I am patient, creative, adaptable, and confident, even under pressure. I follow parents' preferred communication methods and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, board games, and other fun activities like freeze dance. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. My qualifications as an educator have equipped me with strong knowledge of safeguarding practices, child development, & supporting children with varying abilities. I am eager to bring my calm, creative energy to your family and create a nurturing environment where your children can thrive.
