About Lakayla

Hello! I'm Kayla, a 24-year-old childcare professional and certified doula from Dermott, Arkansas. My love for caregiving began in my mother's home daycare, where I helped every day from age 16 and learned to show up for families with consistency, patience, and heart. For three years I've served families in Fort Worth and Arlington. I spent two years with one family, from their son's ninth month through potty training, Montessori-based learning, reading, and sensory play, and stayed on to support them after their second baby arrived. Since June 2026, I've cared for two more newborn families. As a certified doula, I support the whole family through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I create safe, nurturing spaces with intentional routines that build confidence, creativity, and independence. I enjoy cooking, traveling, fishing, and time with my dog.
