About Lai

Hello during my experience as a caretaker, I have worked with four families and one of which I care for twins. I started working with all of the children when they were around two to 3 months old, so I have worked with both infants and toddlers. I would read to them in order to develop their interest in reading and story telling. I also sang and danced with them because the children loved it. l would also use these opportunities to teach them Mandarin Chinese, so I would read them Chinese story books and sing Chinese songs and lullabies. I also took them to the playground so they would have sometimes outside. Since I was with the children for so long, I also started the infants on solid food and trained them to sleep. The most important thing to me is that the children are happy and healthy and that I can provide a fun, loving and safe environment for them and their families, and if it is time for me to leave, that I leave a positive mark in their lives.
