About Lainey

I'd describe my personality as passionate, caring & thoughtful. I like working with animals because they're always honest about how they feel - you just have to pay attention to their behavior! I started working with animals when I was very young. I also volunteer at the local animal shelter every Saturday, helping with the kitties. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 15-year-old dachshund Libi, 9-year-old cat Morty & my many fish in my aquarium. I also love plants & gardening, thrift shopping, baking, and learning any new craft. One thing you should know about me is that I will always put your animals' safety and comfort first. Each animal has their own personality and needs, just like people. My skills include animal research (learning species' behaviors, diets & health), proper handling (walking, picking up, gauging behavioral cues) & providing a calm, secure presence.
