About Lainey

I like working with kids because it inspires me to continue to be imaginative and curious. When I was a teacher I found a passion with connecting kids to their curiosity (insects, flowers, eating or cooking). I find so much value in helping children learn to regulate their emotions. I'm looking for a part time job, to supplement other part time work. I'd love to help local or visiting families. Whether it's a night out, or after school help. I began working with kids when I was in high school. Helping families with young children (infant- 10 yrs). Throughout college I nannied. After, I was a Garden Educator (prek-5th). I now often help with my niece- 20 months! I love to spend my time outdoors, hiking and snowboarding mainly. A good book, watching movies, and playing games. One thing you should know about me is I do have a part time job, but at reasonably flexible. I feel confident in my ability to foster a fun environment that is also comfortable with clear boundaries.
