About Laina

After growing as one of the oldest in a family of six I moved out at 17 years old to become a full time live in nanny for a family with four kids. The children's ages ranged from 7 to 6 months. Because of the difference in ages I had the opportunity to work with both very young children as well as elementary aged children. The family I lived with moved several time while working for them. I was helpful in organizing and setting up their new homes as well as staying on top of tasks such as laundry and general tidying. I loved this family and job, but after a year I moved on to attend college at NAU. I study child development and plan to become an Educator. While in school I continued to do smaller nannying jobs and general babysitting. Additionally, the family I had been a live in nanny for would have me come back for weeks at a time to continue to help with the children. Children and childhood development is one of my passions and I adore any opportunity to work with kids of all ages.
