Laima helped us immensely when we visited Bend over this last weekend for an early morning class that ran both Saturday and Sunday at 7:30am. We had been hoping Grampa could watch our 3 year old for the weekend but he turned out to be unavailable, and rescheduling the class would have been a huge bummer because of the months-long wait list. Laima took great care of our 3 year old, took him out around the neighborhood and swimming in the hotel pool. We felt at ease leaving him with her both days as she is a full-time nanny during the week. After day 2 he told us how much fun he had. As a bonus, Laima speaks fluent Spanish and offered to help him learn his numbers and colors.
