About Laila

Hi! My name is Laila, and I'm a senior biology student at Morgan State University originating from New York City. My long term goal is to become a Pathologist's Assistant. I have over 4 years of child care experience through summer camps, after school programs, and babysitting of ages 3 and up. I strive to create a safe, fun, and structured environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel at ease. I provide regular updates throughout the day to parents, encourage positive behavior with patience and consistency, and enjoy building genuine relationships with every family I work with. My days are filled with a variety of engaging activities, whether it's outdoor play, arts and crafts, and educational activities that promotes curiosity and learning. Running track for 15 years and playing volleyball for 3 years, I love keeping kids active! With my CPR, First Aid and BLS certifications, parents can feel confident and comfortable knowing their children are in safe hands.
