About Laeiylah

Hi! I'm Laeiylah, a Junior at Rutgers University majoring in Public Health with a passion for working with children and supporting families. As the oldest of six siblings, I have years of hands-on childcare experience with children of various ages. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped care for my younger siblings while my mother attended nursing school, strengthening my responsibility, patience, and organizational skills. I enjoy engaging children through arts and crafts, music, outdoor activities, nature exploration, and creative play. I am also comfortable assisting with meals and snacks, homework, bedtime routines, and light housekeeping. Families describe me as dependable, caring, attentive, and easy to communicate with. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and cared for.
