About Lacey

Hi! I recently relocated to Portland after finishing graduate school in Boise, and I'm currently looking to connect with a family for the next 6-12 months before returning to my long-term career path. In the meantime, I'd love to spend this chapter supporting a family and being a steady, positive presence in a child's day-to-day life. I have over five years of experience as an early childhood educator in Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired learning environments, along with nannying for several families. I bring a calm, attentive energy and prioritize creating a space where children feel safe, curious, and engaged. I love getting outside, following a child's interests, and incorporating creativity and play into everyday routines. Families I've worked with describe me as reliable, gentle, and active. I take pride in being someone both children and parents can trust, and I value open communication and consistency.
