About Kyra

I like working with kids because kids see the world in a way that is so deeply refreshing and it allows me to be a kid sometimes too. I want to be a crucial part of their imagined story and I want to laugh at silly things that happen during the day. I want to show them that childlike magic doesn't have to stop when you get older. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, make crafts and cook, play board games with my friends and fiancé. My skills include consistency, playfulness, and attentiveness. I like structure and I am very confident in my abilities to create an organized environment with kiddos. Playfulness is actually how I make that happen. I love making mundane moments creative and fun and then using that momentum to create a more peaceful day. Even with structure, working with kids means truly no day is the same! This is where attentiveness comes into play. When someone is feeling off or having a different kind of day, I flow right along with them.
