Hello! My name is Kyra and I have been mother's helping/babysitting since I was 10. I also grew up with four siblings, so childcare has always been a part of my life. I currently live in philly where I am finishing up nursing school at Thomas Jefferson. My first degree was in biology, and since graduating in 2018 I have worked a variety of other jobs in the past years. The main one was as a certified nursing assistant in a hospital in Massachusetts where I floated to various floors. I then became a psychiatric counselor on an inpatient behavioral health unit. I am also a doula. I will be moving out of philly in July because I will be starting my master's program in nurse-midwifery in August. I love anything outdoors and working with families, which includes furry friends :).

Kyra was an incredible nanny for our family while I was pregnant with our second child and caring for our then two-year-old. She was attentive, engaging, efficient, and such a natural with our child — truly a perfect fit during a very transitional time for us. Her calm, positive energy made a big difference, and she quickly became someone we trusted and valued not just professionally, but personally. We even became friends and still keep in touch! Although she had to move on due to school commitments, she remains nearby and continues to help when she can, which is amazing. I highly recommend Kyra to any family looking for a warm, reliable, and dedicated caregiver.
