About Kyra

Hello! My name is Kyra and I have been mother's helping/babysitting since I was 10. I also grew up with four siblings, so childcare has always been a part of my life. I currently live in philly where I am finishing up nursing school at Thomas Jefferson. My first degree was in biology, and since graduating in 2018 I have worked a variety of other jobs in the past years. The main one was as a certified nursing assistant in a hospital in Massachusetts where I floated to various floors. I then became a psychiatric counselor on an inpatient behavioral health unit. I am also a doula. I will be moving out of philly in July because I will be starting my master's program in nurse-midwifery in August. I love anything outdoors and working with families, which includes furry friends :).
