I have hands-on experience supporting individuals with special needs across different ages. I have worked in home health care with a special needs adult, assisting with daily living tasks while providing compassionate, patient, and respectful care. I also have experience working with autistic children, where I focused on creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment tailored to each child's individual needs. In addition to my professional experience, I have grown up closely connected to the special needs community. My grandmother worked with special needs children in school and after-school programs, and I spent a great deal of time with her in those settings. This lifelong exposure helped shape my understanding, patience, and comfort level when working with individuals with special needs. I am attentive, adaptable, and committed to providing care that promotes dignity, independence, and trust while supporting both individuals and their families.
