About Kyra

Hi! My name is Kyra, and I am a graduating senior from Penn State University. I will graduate in early May with a degree in Psychology as well as a Minor in Deafness and Hearing Studies. For the last four years, I have focused my education on child development in order to fully understand the field that I love so much. Because of this, I not only have a solid background in working with children, but I also have a background in children with special needs. My ultimate goal is to get my doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology. Prior to college, I worked in a preschool that served local families who had children aged 2-5. In this classroom, In this classroom, we worked with the children on preschool-aged activities. During this time, I also interned in a 3rd-grade classroom as a Teacher's Assistant -- I created tests, tutored children in math and English, and helped out with the general needs of the teacher. I have always loved working with children. I can't wait to meet you and yours!
