About Kyra

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I bring hands-on experience supporting children with special needs across home, school, and community settings. My background includes implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies to reduce non-compliance, improve transitions between tasks, and increase focus during academic work. In addition to direct behavior support, I integrate these strategies into tutoring sessions--helping students not only master academic material but also build the behavioral readiness skills that make learning possible. By addressing challenges such as resistance to transitioning into work time, I ensure a smoother, more positive experience that empowers students to achieve both academic and developmental success.
