Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read this brief synopsis on my history and experience caring for special needs children. I am a dual-degree Psychology and Social Work graduate from Auburn University, where I also obtained a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. During my time at Auburn University, I volunteered with a program called Brave Hearts, where I worked with special needs children in an after-school environment. The goal of the program was to provide the children and their caregivers with a sense of community while engaging in activities geared towards the child's level of ability.
