Hello SLO County Community, I'm an experienced caregiver seeking a new part-time position. This is my first time using this app in about 6 years, so I'm in the process of updating everything. I have worked as a care giver on and off over the years, alongside childcare work & running my own health consultation business. Although there were two main families I did care work for in a longer-term capacity, I also have experience with shorter temporary jobs assisting those going through cancer treatment or injury recovery. After several years of focusing exclusively on my health consultation business online, working with chronically ill & traumatized women, I'm now seeking a local part-time care position to work alongside my online work. Kymber helped us raise our son from age 2 months to 1.5 years. We are only changing the caregiver situation because she did such a wonderful job with him - he's so well-adjusted and social that we've decided to move him into a group care arrangement (although we certainly hope to continue to see Kymber for all other childcare needs). As first-time parents, we were nervous about entrusting anyone with our son, but Kymber put us immediately at ease. While Kymber has continued to do a fantastic job caring for our son as he transitions into toddlerhood, she is very well-suited for work with infants. When Seamus was a baby, she demonstrated the incredible patience and nurturing abilities one would desire in an infant caregiver, particularly. Kymber is well-educated about child development yet open-minded, reliable, warm, and has a mother's intuition. She was very easy to work with and a pleasure to see each day.
