Hello SLO County families! I'm a highly experienced nanny and babysitter seeking a new part-time position. I have over two decades of experience working with babies and small children and love doing care work so much that I've continued doing it alongside running my own nutrition and women's health business. I have an educational background in early child development and training/work experience as a postpartum doula, preschool teacher, and special needs support. The bulk of my experience has been with infants - 3 years of age. I have my own vehicle, I'm health-oriented, and super familiar with and comfortable with other household tasks as well. I also spent the past few years getting certified in various somatic and nervous system regulation practices that I think would be useful while caring for little developing nervous systems.

Kymber helped us raise our son from age 2 months to 1.5 years. We are only changing the caregiver situation because she did such a wonderful job with him - he's so well-adjusted and social that we've decided to move him into a group care arrangement (although we certainly hope to continue to see Kymber for all other childcare needs). As first-time parents, we were nervous about entrusting anyone with our son, but Kymber put us immediately at ease. While Kymber has continued to do a fantastic job caring for our son as he transitions into toddlerhood, she is very well-suited for work with infants. When Seamus was a baby, she demonstrated the incredible patience and nurturing abilities one would desire in an infant caregiver, particularly. Kymber is well-educated about child development yet open-minded, reliable, warm, and has a mother's intuition. She was very easy to work with and a pleasure to see each day.
