About Kylie

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a first-grade teacher, I specialize in providing personalized support across math, English, science and social studies. I hold a college degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence through hands-on activities, visual aids, and consistent positive reinforcement. I believe that celebrating small successes is key to keeping students engaged. By maintaining open communication with parents, I adapt my strategies to ensure every student thrives. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to helping your child experience those rewarding "aha!" moments when a concept finally clicks. I am a Certified teacher who truly finds joy in watching my students grow and succeed.
