My background includes respite care, senior care, behavioral health counseling, and job coaching for individuals with developmental, psychiatric, and medical needs. Through these roles, I have developed strong clinical judgment, crisis prevention, and ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and families. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals with a wide range of diagnoses and needs, including ASD, FASD, Down Syndrome, eating disorders, psychiatric disorders, psychosis, ADHD/ADD, dementia, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy, speech difficulties, chronic illnesses, learning disabilities, and cognitive delays. I have experience managing panic attacks, fall risks, elopement, food allergies and medication administration. I have also worked with non-verbal communication and AAC devices. I am trained in crisis prevention to remain calm, patient and solution-focused in high-stress situations. I am currently with CO Family Caregivers.
