Hello! I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and seniors with special needs. I have worked with individuals with ASD, ADHD, FASD, various mental illnesses, dementia, epilepsy, food allergies, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. My experience includes working in a preschool, at an assisted living home, in-home healthcare, job coach for adults with developmental disabilities, behavioral health counselor in a pediatric psych ward, and respite care provider for teens with developmental, psychiatric and physical disabilities. I also have my QMAP certificate (qualified medication administration person), so I have knowledge on medications, and administration. In addition, I am also CPR/first aid/AED certified, as well as pet first aid/CPR certified. In total, I have been caring for individuals with special needs for six years.
