About Kylie

Since 2015, I have provided independent pet sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small animals, and aquatic species. My responsibilities include feeding, exercise, enrichment, medications, cleaning, and monitoring for signs of illness or distress while maintaining pets' normal routines to reduce stress. I worked as a certified pet care associate. I maintained habitats, monitored health, ensured proper nutrition, and administered medications, including injections and ointments. I also have hands-on experience working with anxious and reactive dogs through training with a professional behaviorist for my own reactive dog. This has helped me develop skills in reading body language, reducing stress, and safely handling dogs with anxiety or behavioral challenges. Additionally, I hold a Pet First Aid & CPR certification through American Health Training (2025). I take pride in providing safe, compassionate, and attentive care that gives pet owners peace of mind.
