About Kylia

I'd describe my personality as hardworking, caring, and attention oriented. In my spare time, I love to cook, spend time with my pets, crochet, and read. I love working with children because it's a true honor to help them learn and understand the world; to watch them grow into smart, strong people, and help them with all of life's challenges. I started working with children in 2019 at a daycare, then at a K-12th grade school. Then, three years ago I moved to Maine and started working for a mental health company that specializes in helping children through some of the worst things imaginable. No matter what it is, I've seen it and helped kids through it, while still helping them with their daily needs and responsibilities. I'm looking for a reoccurring placement with 10-40 hours per week, focusing on child care, tutoring, cooking/meal prep, cleaning, pet care, and so on.
