Hello! My name is Kyle (I go by Ken), and I'm a licensed CNA with specialized experience in geriatric care and post-surgery recovery, as well as hospice and home health support. I take pride in providing compassionate, reliable care that helps clients maintain comfort, independence, and dignity at home. I'm skilled in assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship. When supporting clients after surgery, I also create a daily recovery log to help track progress and provide clear updates for their doctors and family members. I completed my CNA training at the Nursing Academy in July 2025 and bring a patient, detail-oriented, and empathetic approach to every client I work with. Whether it's preparing a healthy meal, helping with errands, or simply offering a kind presence, I strive to make each day easier and more uplifting.
I am happy to offer my highest recommendation for Kyle "Ken" S, who provided post-operative care for me following surgery. I knew recovery would be challenging, but I wanted someone I could trust to handle all the logistics—from retrieving me from the hospital to supervising my aftercare until I could function independently again. Ken exceeded every expectation. We spoke by phone several times for planning, then met in person before my surgery so I could give him my car keys and walk through everything: pickup instructions, doctor's aftercare protocols, and household needs. From that point on, I put my full trust in him to make sure everything went smoothly. Ken made sure it did. He was meticulous about following the doctor's instructions—managing frequent ice pack changes, cleaning my surgical site once permitted, and ensuring I ate proper meals even when I insisted I felt well enough to cook myself. During the days when I was most swollen and unable to drive, he handled everything seamlessly. On our trip to the doctor two days post-op, when I was still swollen like a balloon, the surgeon said everything looked great and credited our diligent adherence to his instructions—particularly the icing protocol. That credit goes entirely to Ken, who stayed on top of every detail without me having to think about it. His attention to detail and calm, reliable presence made what could have been an overwhelming recovery feel manageable. What impressed me most was that I never had to worry. Ken took care of the logistics without a hitch, allowing me to focus entirely on healing. He has both the practical skills and the personality to make him an ideal caregiver. I highly recommend Ken to anyone needing trustworthy, capable post-surgical support.
